What meals are provided as part of the Full Conference Registration Fee?

I am having trouble getting started with the online registration.

Please visit the n4a registration webpage at www.n4aconference.org/registration.

Click on the “New Registration” icon. Enter the information requested and click “continue” at the bottom of the page. Instructions are on each page to guide you through the process. Each registrant is identified by their email address. If you have already registered or someone has registered on your behalf using your email address, you will not be able to use that email address again. Who qualifies for the n4a Member registration fee categories?

Area Agency on Aging Members or Associate Members of the National Association of Area Agencies on Aging (n4a) in good standing qualify for these registration categories. Who qualifies for the Title VI Native American Aging Program registration fee?

All Title VI Native American Aging Programs (U.S. Administration on Aging grantees under the Older Americans Act) qualify for this registration category, regardless of current n4a membership status. Curious if your Title VI is an n4a member? Contact Rebecca Levine, n4a’s Membership and Outreach Coordinator.

Do you offer group discounts?

Yes, group discounts are available for the Member, Associate Member and Non-Member Full Conference Registration options for groups of two or more registrants from the same organization. Group discounts are not available for Title VI Native American Aging Program, One Day or Volunteer registrants. You will be given the option to register additional individuals before completing your order. If you would like to register another person to receive the “Two or More” discount, please select the “additional attendees” option prior to submitting payment. To receive the discount, all registrants must be from the same organization, on the same order and must pay together.

How do I register my group to receive the “Two or More” discount?

You will be given the option to register additional individuals before completing your order.  If you would like to register another person to receive the “Two or More” discount, please click “yes” on the additional attendee question prior to submitting payment. To receive the discount, all registrants must be from the same organization, on the same order and must pay together.  NOTE: Group discounts are not available for Title VI Native American Aging Program, One Day or Volunteer registrants.

I am registering as part of a group—why is the website charging me the regular rate?

The registration site is set up to provide a discount for groups who register together on one order, who are all from the same organization, and who pay at the same time. Unfortunately, we cannot provide the discount unless you are all registered together as a group and on the same order. Please contact n4a@conferencedirect.com if you are having trouble adding members to your group.

Can I attend just one day of the Conference?

Yes, one-day options are available for purchase at the time of registration and include access to the workshops, general sessions, Tradeshow and any meals scheduled for the selected day. There is no tradeshow on Tuesday or Wednesday.

Do I have to pre-enroll for sessions?

There are certain sessions that require pre-registration, including Pre-Conference Intensives, Special Sessions, Mobile Workshops and Optional Activities as listed on the registration site. Some of these sessions may require an additional payment (which is not included in the conference registration fee). Most Workshops and Fast-Track Sessions do not have pre-enrollment and seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Which workshops are considered Pre-Conference Intensives and require an additional fee?

Click here to view the Pre-Conference Intensives, which will be offered on Saturday, July 27 and Sunday, July 28. These workshops are NOT included in the Full Conference or One-Day registration fees and may require payment of an additional fee.

I can’t attend all the sessions that I want to, is it possible to get handouts from all?

Workshop and Fast-Track presentations will be made available after the Conference if the presenter(s) provided them to be posted online. An email will be sent to all registrants once those are posted to n4aconference.org.

Where can I find my confirmation number?

The reference number is a combination of letters and numbers and can be found in the Registration Confirmation email, which is automatically generated when you submit your registration. If you don’t see it in your inbox, we recommend you look in your “Junk” folder and/or search your email. The email will be delivered from n4a@conferencedirect.com.

I can no longer attend the Conference, but my colleague is available.  What is the substitution policy?

Payment of a $50 administrative fee enables you to transfer your registration to another person, simply by emailing n4a@conferencedirect.com. Substitutions will be transferred at the same rate as the original registration and can be made at any time.

I need to cancel my registration. What is the cancellation policy?

We understand that events may occur that prevent you from attending the Conference. We are happy to accommodate a refund for your purchase if you are unable to find a substitute prior to the deadline. Cancellation requests must be made in writing by emailing n4a@conferencedirect.com.  Cancellations received by June 28, 2019 will be refunded, less a 25% administrative fee. Unfortunately, no refunds will be given for cancellations received after June 28, 2019.

If for any reason the conference should be cancelled, your registration fee will be refunded. n4a is not responsible for the refund of airfare, hotel or other costs. Refunds of credit card payments will be made to the same account used for the payment.

I still want to attend the Conference but need to cancel one of my optional agenda items.  What is the cancellation fee for optional agenda items?

Cancellations of individual conference items, such as Pre-Conference Intensives and Special Sessions received by June 28, 2019 will receive a full refund. We are unable to offer a refund after June 28, 2019.  Substitutions can be made without a fee.

Can I change my registration once I have submitted it?

You can!  Simply log-in to the registration site and sign in with your email address and reference number. Your reference number was sent to you in your confirmation email after you finished your registration. You can also have it re-sent to you through the link above.

Are there any academic credits available for this Conference?

There are no CEUs offered, but a Certificate of Attendance will be available to all registrants on the n4a Conference website.

I have some dietary restrictions/special needs.  How do I inform the Conference planners?

In an effort to assist with menu planning, you will be able to indicate dietary restrictions during the registration process. Please note: every effort is made to ensure Conference meals accommodate a wide range of dietary preferences, however, due to vendor limitations, not all dietary restrictions can be accommodated.

Can I register on-site?

Yes, on-site registration is available during posted registration hours beginning on Sunday, July 28 at the Registration Desk located on Level 1 of the Hilton New Orleans Riverside, Main Tower Building. Please note:  here is an additional charge for on-site registrations.

Where will the Conference registration desk be located?

The Conference will be held at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside, located at 33 Poydras Street, New Orleans, LA. The registration desk for the conference will be located on Level 1 of the Main Building, past Le Croissant Restaurant. Registration officially opens on Sunday, July 28, 2019.

Are there special hotel room rates as part of the conference?

Yes! n4a has secured discounted rates for Conference participants. The group rate is available until July 5, 2019, or until the group room block is full, whichever occurs first.  Please visit the Hotel page of the Conference website for more information.

Is wi-fi provided during the conference?

Wi-Fi will be available in all meeting spaces at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside. Registrants will receive password information on-site when they pick up their badge.

Can I bring a guest?

All sessions and meals associated with the Conference are for registered attendees only.

What should I wear?

Business casual attire is preferred. Be sure to wear layers, as the meeting spaces may run hot or cool compared to your comfort level.
