Frequently Asked Questions

See below for a list of frequently asked questions about the n4a Virtual Conference and Tradeshow.

Registration

What are the registration fees for the 2020 n4a Virtual Conference and Tradeshow?

Where do I go to Register for the Virtual Conference?

You can register for the n4a Virtual Conference through the online Registration form

Please be sure you are accessing the n4a Virtual Conference website on Google Chrome or Firefox. Some features will not appear on Internet Explorer, including the Registration form.

Can I cancel my registration fee if I don’t want to attend the Virtual Conference?

All cancellation requests must be submitted via email to conference@n4a.org.

Cancellations received on or before September 14, 2020 will be refunded, less a 20 percent administrative fee. No refunds will be provided for cancellations received after September 14, 2020 or for no-shows. Sorry, no exceptions.

I am registered for the conference but am now unable to attend. Can I transfer my registration to someone else?

Have you registered and are now unable to attend? Do you know someone who is interested in attending? Payment of a $25 administrative fee enables you to transfer your registration to another person. Simply send an email to conference@n4a.org to begin the process. Substitutions can be made at any time and will be transferred at the same rate as the original registration. Payment for substitutions must be made at the time of processing.

How do I pay for my conference registration?

Conference registrations are not complete until payment is received. Registrants may submit payment by credit card or check. Payments not received within 15 days of the registration order may result in a cancellation.

If you are paying by credit card, complete your payment online with the online registration form.

If you are paying by check, please indicate the email address you signed up with on the check and mail it to the following address:

National Association of Area Agencies on Aging (n4a)
PO Box 791067

Travel

For those who made hotel reservations

Everyone who made reservations at one of the two hotels that had been designated as hotels for the in-person Conference in Portland (the Hyatt Regency Portland at the Oregon Convention Center and the Doubletree by Hilton Portland) should have received an email from the hotel cancelling your reservations. There is nothing additional that you will need to do.

Individuals who made reservations at a hotel other than those listed above will need to contact that hotel directly to cancel your reservation.

Presenters

For Presenters

Because we can’t hold as many workshops in a virtual Conference format as we could at an in-person conference, there will be changes. All previously confirmed workshop presenters have been notified with information about the status of your workshop, and to ask whether you would be willing to participate in our Virtual Conference. If you have not yet received a notification, please reach out to conference@n4a.org.

Rules and Regulations

If you are need of an accommodation, please contact Martin Kleffner, Director of Operations n4a, mkleffner@n4a.org by September 14 at 5:00pm ET.

Registration will be open throughout the Virtual Conference!
